We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Area Manager to join Toys R Us team based in Dubai, UAE.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing, administering, coaching and training all administration work functions and enforce policies and procedures in all Toys R Us stores. You will actively contribute to the day to day operation of the stores through sound operational knowledge and understanding.
You will develop store procedures in conjunction with the store teams, regional office and Retail Compliance Manager and ensure smooth implementation and compliance checks. You will support the General Manager with all new store opening requirements. You will continuous review the local consumables to ensure stores are in line with budget parameters at all times.
You will support the store management teams by ensuring there are fully trained and competent users on store operating systems (SAP, ECC.6, Retail Pro) to avoid discrepancies and risk to the business and ensure all till discrepancies are thoroughly investigated, recorded, analysed and reported to the General Manager for further action in case of any dispute.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, it is essential you have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or equivalent commercial experience. You must have significant commercial sales experience, gained in a managerial role, with a proven track record.
You must have a strong understanding of Key Performance Indicators and how it pertains to the success of sales activities as well as be sound with Analytical Skills, Problem Solving Skills and Excellent Communication Skills. Creativity and being commercially aware will be your key strengths.
