Branch Manager (Al Ain)
Manage and lead the Branch effectively in order to ensure the achievement of targets and business development objectives, while adhering to Bank’s policies and guidelines and maintaining high quality customer services.
– Agree on the business plan for the Branch with the Head of Branch Banking and subsequently cascade the same to individual staff members to support the achievement of business goals for the Branch.
– Monitor the performance of staff periodically to ensure that targets are met or exceeded to foster a high performance culture.
– Assess the development needs of staff members and take appropriate actions to assist in the realisation of their potential and to enhance their knowledge-based skills.
– Ensure control over daily Branch operations by reviewing the transactions, computer printouts, cash balances, stock, shortage, excess and suspense account register etc.
– Ensure that all staff members are well trained and fully aware of products, policies, procedures and practices so that they can deliver high level quality customer service in line with Bank’s established standards.
– Effectively manage the customer complaints in coordination with Customer Care & Resolution to ensure prompt resolution of customer complaints.
– Ensure risk management, cost control, audit compliance, internal & external reporting obligations are met to ensure quality and to protect the interests of the Bank.
– Support bank wide quality initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
– Coordinate with HO on matter related to irregular or classified accounts to ensure speedy settlement.
– Ensure the adherence to HR Policies & Procedures as detailed in the HR P&P Manual to support the consistency of practice.
– Act as a corporate citizen by representing the Bank in the community in order to promote its image, enhance its reputation and optimise business opportunities.
– Ensure the achievement of objectives as agreed and detailed in the Performance Planning Review Form to support the achievement of Branch/ Division/Bank’s business goals.
