Business Development Manager – Contract Logistics
Years of experience: 4-5 years in Sales with 3 years in Contract Logistics
Salary Range: AED 25,000 + Commission and Bonuses
Our client is a leading logistics a leading Dubai-based third party logistics (3PL) provider with a 700,000 square foot facility in logistics city.
The primary objective of this position is to develop new leads for Contract Logistics & International Freight Services and later convert these leads into potential long term business
Responsible for securing new customers, and maintaining and developing existing accounts.
Identify potential customers and register opportunities; relentlessly grasp such opportunities leading to revenue and profitability for the company
Conduct and report minimum number of sales leads set by the management and transform a minimum of those into revenue generating business
Maintain records of customer details/sales visits.
Frequently visit existing accounts validating our service levels and develop new revenue streams.
Negotiate with the accounts as per price guidelines were given, looking to maximize profits.
Follow up on customer communications in a timely and professional manner.
Assimilate market information and take part in the overall business development through weekly / monthly sales meetings.
Responsible for a weekly review meeting with team members.
Analyze and follow the logistics market development in UAE in order to be able to verify company’s approach within logistics/storage market
