CMMS ENGINEER – Client of Five Continents in Abu Dhabi
Job Purpose : Provides technical expertise and advice to technical and operating Divisions / Departments on all related matters to the data base on maintenance and equipment. Liaises with assets to define and update the equipment critically, specifications, Bill of Materials (BOM), etc. and prepares Maintenance Management System reporting. Defines common code to be used for system integration. Provides appropriate support to end uses on the utilization of the CMMS System including work management procedures. Liaises with maintenance support departments and Reliability & Data Managements Engineers in developing / updating preventive maintenance programmes and benchmarking with the objective of achieving high service factors at optimum cost. Principal Accountabilities Participates as a team member in the selection, installation and implementation of the Computerized Maintenance Management System. Coordinates and studies the systems requirements with difference parties involved in maintaining and updating the database, and develops to meet user requirements. Reviews continuously, equipment data and maintenance history to explore the new functionalities and recommends enhancement to ensure maximum usage of the system by end users with minimum cost Review packages for new projects and recommends on equipment critically, data structure, template, coding, job plans and work planning. Evaluates scope of work / specification for the new proposed system / package and provides technical advice on the system suitability Coordinates and prepares maintenance / inspection programmes requirements taking into consideration cost effective implementation. Implements maintenance management system policy and develops procedures to integrate the quality insurance requirements Review maintenance / inspection history to decide on modification and reduce inventory / cost, and amends preventive maintenance programmes in the system. Ensures minimum interruption / breakdown to companyâ€™s operation. Initiates, prepares, and develops the maintainable equipment data sheet and documents in conformity with company requirements. Provides system support to end users including troubleshooting system malfunctioning, studying, analyzing, and recommending solutions for preventing reccurence Proposes and develops equipment listings and work standards, and ensures adherence to companyâ€™s maintenance policy. Coordinates with concerned personnel and utilizes CMMS to enhance conditions monitoring of equipment in the Plants, and introducing and updating companyâ€™s benchmarking. Liaises with other systems and maintenance engineers to evaluate the requirements for maintenance management system and enhancement and develops the system basic data for system integration requirement Develops training programs for users on work management and conduct training campaigns including offshore. Develops maintenance system reporting for Supervisor / Management using maintenance benchmarks Produces regular reports on equipment database and maintenance performance using key performance indicator (KPI)
