Customer Service Coordinator – Michael Page International (UAE) Limited
Our client, is a multinational organisation and one of the largest Suppliers to the Aluminium industry, is looking for Customer Service Coordinator responsible for all of the Logistics and Admin activities in the business.

Reporting to the General Manager of the Company, the responsibilities of Customer Service Coordinator will include, but not limited to the following:
– Develop and implement a customer service policy to meet the organization’s objectives.- Set a clear mission and deploy strategies focused towards that mission.- Improve customer service quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes.- Train staff to deliver a high standard of customer service. Lead and supervise a team of customer service staff.- Interface with customers and sales managers to handle both pre-sales and post-sales service functions.- Handle product purchasing and order fulfilment activities such as taking orders, giving pricing information, determining appropriate shipping methods, routes and rates, etc.- Monitor Inter-company order shipments to ensure on-time delivery to customers.- Alert customers on shipping and flow issues in advance. Communicate courteously with customers by telephone, email, letter and face to face.- Take ownership of customers’ issues and follow problems through to resolution.- Control inventory and maintain computerized information systems.- Maintain database of customer sales orders and invoicing records.- Strong liaison with sales team so that credit issues are resolved smoothly.- Perform administrative and accounting tasks appropriate to the activities of the unit.- Maintain HR related records. Manage administration, office suppliers, daily restaurant orders, and service providers. – Review and assess contracts to improve services and reduce costs.- Assist managers in planning business travels, hotel reservations, exhibitions and business events. – Prepare reports and give presentations to senior management. Project a personable and positive image at all times.
For the role of Customer Service Coordinator the ideal candidate must have the following:
– College Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience- Min 2 years on a similar position in industrial companies (no retailers or front desk staff)- Knowledge of Visual Manufacturing ERP software is a plus.- Verifiable credentials from previous employers- Must live in the UAE- Driver license is a plus.- Previous employment in companies located in JAFZA preferred.
