In this job you will walk into an automotive giant with a landscape where marketing communications and branding is going through a change . With the organization implementing its new strategic glidepath the need to have a dedicated person who will develop and implement the communications strategy in line with business goals becomes critical. Working closely with multiple business heads you need to set the path for change, enhancement, transformation with internal and external stakeholders. You would lead communications, media relations, corporate affairs, drive strategic events, internal communications, social media and stakeholder management. The whole nine yards would belong to you. We are looking for somebody who has ideally operated within an automotive principal or distributor, experience in developing markets (highly preferred), change agility along with intellectual depth to think in and out of the box as all markets under this job have a different beat. Dive deep and wide and ensure that best practices are not a note in the file but followed, you would work along with the Director Marketing to bring in the change, drive the internal cultural change, take ownership of PR, events & exhibitions, websites, sponsorships, media plans, intranet etc.
What do we need in this person is prior experience of 10+ years of marketing communications experience in an automotive set up (principal or distributor), ability to operate at the strategic and operational level, passion to create a legacy via brand image transformation. Supported by a high performing teams of business heads with exacting standards you need to dive deep and go wide to get insight into the different needs of each business unit and the corporate entity as a whole .
