Driver – Client of Accor in Fujairah
• To provide courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times, following the hotels Standards of Performance. • To perform all duties and tasks in the assigned Place of Work as per the standard set in the job task list. Please note that job task lists are reviewed and changed on a regular basis reflecting change in trends, guest expectations and operating philosophies. • To welcome the guest with a smile and transport them with utmost care to and from the hotel • To offer car valet services to all guest and patrons of the hotel. • To take care of the vehicle assigned and report to the Bell Captain • To ensure that the car is properly washed, clean and filled-up with petrol regularly. • To enter in the logbook all trip’s made, with correct details of the departure time, mileage, time of return, purpose of trip etc… • To liaise with the Bell Captain for all work details regarding transportation arrangements and valet services • To report any accident involving hotel’s car to the AFOM and FOM • To project a good image of the hotel by the way he keeps his car, his dressing and attitude • May be assigned to carry out jobs for hotel as well as for customers • To observe and adhere strictly to all government traffic rules and regulations • To assist in loading and unloading baggage of the guests to and from the vehicles • To be fully conversant with all services, activities and facilities offered by the hotels and recommend them to the guests. • To be well conversant of the local environment of the hotel: the city, culture, activities, exhibitions, shopping malls, and general information around the hotel. • To coordinate with the bell desk updated list of arrival / departures • To be always available and on-duty during peak periods • To provide high standard of service for handling incoming groups, VIP and FIT guests. • To liaise with all other departments for all Guest related matters. • Valet Parkers: to maintain cleanliness of the driveway and ensure cars are parked in an orderly manner at all times and that driveway is kept clear at all times • To inform the Front Desk or his supervisor of any unusual situation/suspiciously acts of the guest • To work closely with his colleagues to provide the maximum friendly, courteous and efficient personal services possible • To be flexible in supporting other colleagues needs in other Divisions or sister properties based on the hotel priorities and anticipated business levels. • To be aware with the policies and procedures concerning fire, emergency evacuation, accidents, bomb threats, law and order situations. • To be fully aware and conversant of Accor spirit, values and goals and is responsible to integrate them in the day to day operation. • To be fully aware and conversant of ISO9001 and 14001 (for Ibis Hotel) policies and procedures and is responsible to integrate them in the day to day operation.
