E-COMMERCE MANAGER (MALE) – Confidential in Dubai

A large distributor of gem-quality diamonds, having e-commerce B2B and B2C business is looking for a technically strong E-Commerce Projects /Online Digital Marketing Manager. Position Based: Dubai Reporting To: Managing Director Key Responsibilities: Project Management • Manage B2B and B2C ecommerce projects, deliverables and timelines to ensure client satisfaction, and profitability. • Create the necessary technical architecture. • Ensure all websites and internet properties under your influence have been technically optimized to attract and engage those visitors that closely match the agreed profile of the target audience • Develop, drive and evaluate the online marketing capabilities strategy and roadmap for B2B eCommerce. • Develop and drive merchandising strategies, content and direction for B2B eCommerce websites. • Identify opportunities and define strategies to increase traffic or revenue through up-sell or cross-sell transaction volume. • Responsible for delivering projects within timelines and cost. Digital Marketing • Responsible for delivering projects within timelines and cost. • Creates performance metrics to measure success and conducts analysis to determine effectiveness, implementing change where needed based on the data • Optimizes the ecommerce customer experience on the site (e.g. landing pages, simple menu options, navigation etc.) and the end-to-end ordering process (e.g. add-to-cart, check out, promo codes etc.) • Developing a comprehensive online marketing strategy geared towards generating direct revenue, customer acquisition and customer retention by leveraging websites, email marketing, SEO, SEM, Affiliate/partner management, and display advertising. • Responsible for driving e-commerce revenue by strategizing, planning, executing, and monitoring digital marketing initiatives on one of our brand websites. • Develops and implements e-store email marketing strategies/campaigns which includes maintaining a master email promotion calendar, email campaign set up, list segmentation, product selection, testing, delivery, and analysis. • Analyze the success of our online marketing campaigns and promotions to provide strategic direction and guide investments to both drive new and qualified traffic and retain customers. • Create and execute Email marketing strategy in conjunction with email marketing agency and cross-functional partners. • Execute the site marketing strategy across desktop and mobile channels from concept to launch, partnering with marketing, merchandising and creative teams. • Create the strategy and manage the relationship with external Search and Affiliate vendors for driving online traffic and sales through Paid Search, Product Listing Ads, Comparison Shopping Engines, Display Advertising, Affiliates and any other digital marketing strategies. Analyze program success and reassess/react to performance. • Developed and managed social media strategies in coordination with team members. • Partner cross functionally with eCommerce teams to increase Email marketing list. • Synthesize information to clearly communicate key insights and deliver recommendations to leadership/turn into actionable strategy. SEO/SEM • Lead SEO and SEM efforts to optimize online search results and digital brand equity. • Work closely with agency on implementing and managing paid search, identifying new opportunities and search strategies, and driving profitability while working within defined budget. • Develop an effective SEO/SEM strategy that complements our business model and an impactful analytics approach that informs fact-based decision making. • Oversee SEO efforts, including content management, site design and functionality and drive ongoing improvements. • Research feedback from all available resources: site analytics, customer service, customer feedback, product reviews, social media and internal teams and utilize the information to optimize the site and improve performance. • Lead idea development, technic

Qualifications: • Bachelors in Computer Science/ Marketing / Business. Experience: • Minimum 7 years of experience in online marketing spanning SEO, SEM/PPC, Display Ads and website management in MNC/International Company. • 5-6 years of experience in eCommerce project management roles, preferably B2B and B2C on the Fortune 500 list. • Minimum 3 years’ experience in web development using VB.NET and C#. • Excellent experience with UI/UX, JavaScript, Microsoft SQL database, JQuery, Ajax • Strong knowledge of Cloud technologies and experience with Amazon EC2 platform. • Experience in managing long term digital projects and handling multiple stakeholders. • Expertise in B2B or B2C eCommerce site management or online marketing/merchandising experience in the high-tech industry with demonstrable successes. • Experience in tactical operations & content management of a global eCommerce website, implementation of a global B2B search strategy and robust analytical abilities. • Work in-house and get to focus on one site and see the long-term impacts of your strategies strong communication, copywriting and creative evaluation skills in order to develop and execute engaging, effective programs that successfully communicate our brand voice. • Experience in working with international websites. • Proven web analytical skills (measurement, ROI, forecasting and predictive analytics). • Experience in a highly analytical, results-oriented environment with external customer interaction. • Strong digital marketing experience. • Knowledge of global best practices in all areas of eCommerce, including catalog management, product merchandising, content systems, search and guided navigation, SEO and personalization • Experience in Web Development, Web Analysis, Data Analysis and Google Analytics. • Experience in CMS Development, Website Testing & Tracking. • Experience in designing Responsive Web Designs (RWD). • Previous experience in diamond and Jewelry industry will be an added advantage. Knowledge: • Good understanding of eCommerce website development, eCommerce business models, launching products. • Strong understanding of technical aspects of the web, large scale web applications. • Strong knowledge of the different online marketing instruments such as – web merchandising, emails, campaign management and loyalty programs. • Thorough understanding of the key drivers of effective online customer experience. • Strong knowledge of Enterprise Data Reporting and analytical tools like Google Analytics, Abode Site Catalyst. • Knowledge of Online Media planning and buying. • Good knowledge of MSSQL. Skills & Ability: • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage client expectations through proactive communication. • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and the ability to express thoughts logically and ability to communicate at executive levels. • Competence in working with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint. • Strong data analysis skills and a passion to extract insights to drive program performance; fluency with performance metrics and ROI analysis. • Capable of pulling data from various resources and translating into trends, action plans, and compelling reports. • Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across departments as well as manage internal and external partners in a fast-paced environment. • Creative thinker who is also highly organized with excellent project management skills managing multiple projects simultaneously • Proficiency with web analytics tool like Adobe Site Catalyst and Google Analytics. • History of achieving results and reaching goals. • Strong problem solving and analytical thinking skills. • Excellent team player and team leader. – Source from NaurikiGulf UAE
