Engineer – Transmission Projects (132kv / 400kv) – ARMS Jobs
Provide full support to the project team throughout the project lifecycle in line with the project’s master plan to ensure successful completion of the assigned Transmission projects.
Project Objectives: Keep the project on schedule by assisting the project team and taking corrective actions as and when required. Control of the accomplishments of the project milestones and report the same.
Project Scope of Work: Implement the scope of work for the projects assigned and ensure that the contractor/consultant comply with DEWA approved project documents.
External and Internal Coordination: Coordinate and follow up on project related matters and identification of risks. Facilitate the resolution of issues with internal and external relevant parties.
Progress Meetings & Commercial: Coordinate and conduct meetings to discuss project progress and project problem resolution, both internally and externally, and prepare minutes of meetings. Follow up on the actions detailed in the meeting.
Administrative Tasks: Responsible for administrative tasks such as review and verification of project Invoices, guarantees, project reconciliation and preparation of variation orders/job orders in line with provisions of contract.
Site Visits: Conduct project site visits to check and monitor the progress (project program) of the work and report the same to Senior Management.
Outages Plan: Plan and coordinate with DEWA internal departments for project related power/water outages.
Corporate Excellence: Responsible for continuously innovating and fulfilling the requirements of driving the Corporate Excellence. Facilitating, transferring and sharing knowledge with colleagues and subordinates.
