The organization has grown rapidly and added more space for manufacturing operations and the client list is growing. While there has been growth the Partners want to ensure that they build a strong sustainable organization which can move to the next level and want the process and capability enhanced. Sometimes process and capability takes a backseat to growth and they want to ensure that the gap is addressed
What are they looking for?
As they move towards institutionalization of their organization, is seeking a General Manager who comes armed with industry and Holistic experience! Industry experience in POS is essential so you can hit the ground running, holistic is essential as in the first few months of your joining the organization you would be entrusted with the responsibility to restructure and revamp the organization to handle bigger business volumes, operate on higher levels of efficiency and service delivery, create and nurture a culture based on trust, transparency and accountability, re look at current capabilities in sync with the HR lead to ensure there is training and development of employees across all departments to have a good pool of internally promotable talent, work alongside the partners and be a key contributor to the overall business strategy and ensure via team that new projects being acquired our being managed efficiently and ROI is optimized. You would have the P&L responsibility for the division.
-Be the main interface for key accounts, actively work on improving current operations and identifying new growth drivers.
– Developing manufacturing and operational strategic plans and generally overseeing their implementation to ensure maximum capacity utilization of the manufacturing units towards achieving the group’s strategy, growth and profit objectives.
– Responsible for formulating policies, programs, and objectives affecting the schedule, quality, and cost of manufactured products. Directing and co-coordinating production according to quality and quantity specifications within cost objectives.
-Oversee planning and implementation of production plans including receiving sales forecasts; requisition for procurement of raw materials; and manufacturing of products
-Lead the implementation of new manufacturing initiatives, including strategic resource allocation and applying good manufacturing principles, organization structure, leadership, sourcing and integration, production systems and techniques for improved efficiencies and adherence to best practice
-Providing strong leadership to the employees at the plants, ensuring high morale, team work and good employee relations, at all levels, including on the shop floor.
-Ensuring all divisions within the manufacturing area is properly staffed and co-ordinated to perform duties effectively.
-Promoting the development of favorable employee relations to further the organization’s production of quality goods.
-Oversee all operations and logistics of all the plants and maintain financial discipline.
-Maintain a high quality consciousness
-Able to meet and subsequently exceed performance targets ensuring profitability of the individual manufacturing units.
