The range of properties administered and leased in the UAE includes warehouses, showrooms, workshops, offices, villas and apartment buildings. Al Futtaim’s warehousing complex at Rashidia in Dubai, measuring over one million square feet, is by far the largest owned by any company in the Gulf. This is used as a central warehouse for the group, stocking vast quantities of electronic goods, automobiles, commercial vehicles, heavy equipment and inventories of spare parts. The company also has some 200,000 square feet of showroom space and 600,000 square feet of workshops in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Fujairah, Sharjah, Ajman and Umm Al Quwain. Among the largest of these are the showrooms of Al Futtaim Panatech and Al Futtaim Motors in Dubai. In keeping with the economic growth of the United Arab Emirates and Dubai, it is envisaged that Al-Futtaim Real Estate will concentrate its efforts and resources towards the development of prestigious real estate complexes to supplement the growing demand for commercial and residential properties. About the Position
The purpose of this role is the development of Residential and Commercial properties, in line with the master plan of Dubai Festival City, from concept to completion and exit. The Senior Development Manager will have bottom-line profit and loss responsibility for project conceptualization, planning, permitting, market and financial analysis, financing, sales and/or leasing, interface with design and construction and successfully development of residential or commercial real estate.
This role will report to the Director-Residential and Commercial Property and will be based out of Dubai Festival City.
Post-graduation in architecture with a minimum of 10 years of experience in design, construction and property development in residential and commercial, with a proven track record in architectural design and property development of multiple projects in Dubai
The incumbent should have a working knowledge on budgeting, rich residential and commercial understanding of Dubai market, scheduling and strong decision making and management skills with equally good presentation and communication skills to interact with the Investment Committee, employees and external agencies .
