Operations Manager – Win Win HRC in Abu Dhabi
PURPOSE To drive consistent execution across multiple locations through setting direction, coaching and developing Area Managers, building succession plans and influencing corporate decisions. Operation Manageraccomplishes this purpose by ensuring the following roles and responsibilities are consistently implemented, with an underlying commitment to the Brands’ values, customers and associates. • Build Talent • Build Capability Ensure positive customer experience and • Build the Brand Drive Profitable Top -Line Sales Growth OVERVIEW OF ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Build Talent – Inspire others to trust and follow • Coach, develop and maximize the success of the area • Assess talent and create succession plans • Attract, identify and retain top talent • Build an inclusive high performance team Build Capability – Communicate clear action plans • Analyze business, create weekly focus, field report and action plans. • Provide monthly business review and action plan to change or sustain the business. • Communicate priorities • Ensure loss prevention policies and practices are being followed to minimize shrinkage within the budget. • Liaise with HR to resolve any associate relation issues in a timely manner using appropriate documentation in alignment with company policy and UAE laws. • Assist in formulating short and long term strategies to improve the business. • Manage operating costs within budget (labour, store expenses etc.) • Drive execution of company initiatives • Adhere to all company and ISO policies & procedures • Identify and coach the Workforce on Management opportunities and trends including the Area Managers. • Key stakeholder in the planning and coordination across all the departments for new store openings Control all the costs at store level operations also. • Manage timely stock takes across locations Build the Brand • Lead and influence change • Ensure an emotionally engaging customer experience • Ensure consistent execution of visual standards QUALIFICATIONS • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Able and willing to travel for, visit stores and attend regional and corporate meetings • Ability to work periodic weekends and evenings • Proven ability to network, recruit, train, develop and assess associates • Proven ability to increase sales and profitability within designated area • Proven ability to work collaboratively with home office partners • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience PREFERENCES • Multi-store/District Management experience • High street fashion brand experience required. Should have managed a minimum of 15 to 20 store operationally.
