Primary responsibility is to lead the Product Line function of the LV, MV & CPS solutions there by formulating and executing the growth strategy focused around various sales segments across the Middle East. Working in conjunction with the operations leader, tendering manager, and other sales segment leaders, the incumbent should define the ‘win zone’ by geography and market segment, and provide leadership and guidance for the sales team.
The incumbent will define the opportunity landscape in the region, specifically for ESS MV & LV Assemblies, Cooper Power Products and Energy & Automation solutions. Engage and develop relationships with leading stakeholders across the Power & utility market place to drive profitable revenue growth and increase market share.
The individual will need to closely manage cross functional relationships and be able to drive both strategic and tactical results across various geographies.
Essential Functions:
– Champion and role model Eaton’s Ethics & Values and commitment to Health & Safety
– Build and effectively communicate segment intelligence across the business, ensuring project opportunities are prioritized in line with the overall regional strategy.
– Develop and support sales team across the region to pursue solutions based approach for strategic projects and key end users.
– Formulate and deploy a robust strategy for Eaton’s Power assemblies and solutions in O&G, Petrochemical, Industrial, Utility, Transport, PG, market segments.
– Propose and implement the Products strategy in collaboration with the Countries and GPL.
– Formulate and execute a strategy to leverage Cooper Power System’s strong presence in Utility vertical to pull through other Eaton products and solutions in this space.
– Support Country Sales Managers in localized segment strategy, customer relationships and building organization capability.
– Drive training across the product range for internal sales people.
– Drive Sales Synergy between Legacy Eaton and Cooper businesses which fits this segment
– Help to define capability and resources required to ensure profitable growth and help execute agreed plans.
– Work collaboratively with support functions to help drive wider Corporate strategies and initiatives where needed.
– Lead a team of Product Line Managers and Specialists to provide adequate support to the regional sales team to cover and convert the opportunities. Ensure a deep talent bench and strong succession pipeline is established. Drive a culture of team and individual performance, taking accountability for performance management, development and succession planning.
– Liaise with the GPL’s of MV (UX) and LV(CX (H)) and represent the ME with regards to pricing and development of the mentioned products
