Proposals Manager – Executive Solutions
Evaluation, Preparation and Submission of Pre-qualification/Technical Proposal Documents. Risk Management throughout the bid process.
Review the tender documents and RFP within the set timeframes.
Develop Strategy with an appropriate understanding of the sales strategy and an intension to win against the tender competition.
Lead the proposal team by supervising the preparation of BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and proposal documents.
Consult the Senior Personnel of various Departments to formulate the estimations and proposals.
Approve the scope of work of each Department involved in the bid.
Lead Tender meeting and daily status calls as required.
Responsible for the entire technical proposal development life cycle from proposal RFP (Request for Proposal) release to post-proposal submission activities, thereby leading, planning, scheduling, and overseeing large-scale business opportunities.
Vendor and Supply Management.
Responsible for Risk Mitigation Solutions during various stages of bid process.
Ability to work on multiple proposals simultaneously.
Develop and approve BOQ by following the budget constraints.
Good Negotiation Skills.
Maintain database of Vendors, Suppliers and Subcontractors.
Prepare the proposal plans and schedules.
Strong background and experience with power projects.
Excellent Oral and Written communication skills with an ability to coordinate in International business standards.
Provide technical writing, editing, and proof-reading services for key areas of the proposal including articulation of strategic value, past performance capabilities, technical approach, and project governance
Adhering to the company’s audit policies.
Documenting all the tender data in a timely and organized manner.
Liaise and Correspond with International Vendors and Contractors.
Preparing and reviewing the commercial aspects of the bid, ensuring all services are included in the final price to the customer.
Support the Project Manager in contract review post award.
Contribution to development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Company’s processes, supporting tools, templates, and knowledge management platform.
Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.
Identify and prepare joint bids with consortium partners drafting and preparing the tender documents.
Prepare, negotiate and agree to a mutual commercial understanding/contract with the consortium partners.
Responsible working with all members of the Consortium, Commercial Sales team to develop winning, innovative proposals including written responses for RFPs, oral presentations and demonstrations.
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
Resolves problems encountered during daily operations and determine appropriate solutions.
Contributes to the development of the performance enhancement plan, documents performance, provides performance feedback and furnishes information for the formal performance evaluation.
Understanding the implications of health and safety regulations.
