Public Area Attendant – The Rezidor Hotel Group
Public Area Attendant will perform the following tasks to the highest standards: 1. Keep the entire public areas in an immaculately clean condition. Spot clean visible dirt and stains on regular intervals. 2. Set up and maintain all public areas according to established arrangement standard. 3. Ensure that ashtrays are empty at all times, bins are emptied regularly and polished per schedule. 4. Clean areas of carpet, marble, stone, wood, tile, linoleum etc. as instructed using appropriate machinery and cleaning materials. 5. Clean all areas above floor level as specified by supervisor or Executive Housekeeper based on special cleaning schedule. 6. Ensure guest lifts are neat and spotlessly clean at all times. 7. Clean, scrub and disinfect public area toilets at regular intervals to the required standard of hygiene. Ensure these are fully stocked with toilet paper, tissue, soap and other amenities at all times. 8. Ensure the optimum use and control of all amenities, guest supplies and chemicals to minimize wastage. 9. Ensure that all offices, F&B outlets, boardrooms, meeting rooms, convention center, business center, lobby, Front of the House and Back of the House areas are cleaned and maintained to a high level of cleanliness. 10. Report any un-programmed but necessary maintenance work to supervisor immediately. Expected to take own initiative when an area is in need of attention and service. 11. Responsibly use all equipment, tools and keep in good condition. Clean and check properly before and every after use. Any fault should be reported to supervisor. 12. Continuously update oneself and be knowledgeable about hotel facilities, activities, promotions and happenings and be able to provide accurate information and guide guests when necessary. 13. Ensure that hotel’s policy relating to fire, hygiene, health, safety, rules and regulations are understood and adhered to.
