Reliability & Data Management Team Leader – Client of Five Continents in Abu Dhabi
Job Purpose: – Initiates and develops maintenance strategies for all UZ site plants and equipment, and ensures effective implementation of these strategies. – Provides technical expertise and assistance to operational divisions on all matters related to reliability engineering, reliability assessment, reliability monitoring for all process equipment and plants. – Carries out reliability/ availability/ studies and report plants performance analysis. – Carries out reliability improvement studies and defines short and medium term action plans. – Devises and develop maintenance performance mechanisms analysis; including Costs, Spare parts consumption, manpower efficiency. – Development of standards and procedures for maintenance practices. – Carries out audit on operational and maintenance procedures and make recommendation to close identified gaps. – Develops and update maintenance strategies reflecting best practices / lessons learnt as well as focal point in maintenance strategy effective roll out and implementation. Principal Accountabilities: – Supervises, directs, and coordinates the activities of assigned personnel. Performs supervisory functions and exercises financial authority at the level established by management. Contributes to the preparation of the annual divisional plan and the strategy to ensure resource requirements and work programmes. – Prepares and issues maintenance policies and strategies including determination of equipment criticality and defining necessary rules and analysis required for best maintenance type for each system. Leads and coordinates the development of maintenance strategy on sites and introduces necessary condition monitoring techniques. Ensures training site employees on failure analysis, spare parts consumption analysis etc … Revises SOW and maintenance frequencies of all equipment and develops tools and methods to carry out such revision. – Conducts reliability studies and defines a maintainability strategy in order to develop new maintenance practices in line with new maintenance approach. Advises maintenance support Teams on trouble shooting of non-routine equipment failure, and cause analysis. – Develops and implements a maintenance optimisation programme using Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM). Uses Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) data and carries out Failure Mode, Effect Analysis (FMEA), and Root Cause analysis. Develops RAM models, life cycle cost model and other reliability tools. – Reviews package for new projects and recommends on equipment selection and redundancy. – Assist in CMMS effective utilization and input towards enhancement. – Provides equipment Maintenance specifications, strategies and assist with design specs .. – Participates in equipment review and proposes new solutions. Alerts on obsolescence of equipment. Carries out the review of the commissioning and the two years operation spare parts. – Assists site to implement appropriate monitoring techniques to help reflecting the equipment real conditions. – Leads and supervises specific scheme/works allocated to Reliability & Data – Management in different disciplines including mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation. – Identifies priorities of actions to improve spares and equipment reliability.
