Resident Engineer – Abu Dhabi & Doha – Confidential in Abu Dhabi – Doha
1. The most important role of the Resident Engineer is Site Management to the satisfaction of Company and the Client. 2. Review Contract Drawings/Documents and advise discrepancies. 3. Review Contractor’s Programme Schedule & Comments. 4. Follow up Work Progress and advise management. 5. Review/Prepare Monthly Progress Report Liason with Client. 6. Attend Site Meeting/Dept.Meetings and prepare Minutes. 7. Review Shop Drawings & Material Submittals. 8. Site Inspection of Works. 9. Review Contractor Payment invoice & Approve. 10. Prepare & Follow up on Company Payments. 11. Project Correspondence 12. Maintain & Update Project Files 13. Witness/ Testing of Materials/Works 14. Advise Management on Manpower Requirement 15. Prepare /Issue Site Memos, Works approval 16. Review design calculations, commissioning procedures & commissioning of Equipments 17. Prepare/Issue Snag list & Follow up 18. Attend to client requirements /ensure contractor attendance to Snag 19. Prepare Preliminary Acceptance Certificate & Final Acceptance Certificate 20. Follow up Contractor Work during maintenance period.
Qualification: Qualified Architect/Civil Engineer (Degree) with 12 years experience in construction supervision of large diversified high quality projects. Proven track record of having conducted similar work activity for at least 5 Years in similar role. Required Skill Set: Managerial skills. Negotiation and Reporting skills.
