Sales Engineer – TLI Knowledge Services Private Limited in Abu Dhabi
Nature of the Job: To conduct sales, by preparing sales and technical offers, organizing sales files, pricing accurately, and effectively communicating with the customers to understand their needs and efficiently coordinating internally, to deliver the right product and satisfy the customer’s needs. Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Sales offers Prepare sales offers and quotations, containing commercial and technical information , by attaining the needed information from the customers, preparing technical offers based on prices from Sales Engineer, and presenting to Sales Manager/AGM for approval, to have documented offers for future referencing. 2. Bills of Quantities Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ’s) and any related survey reports; by adding maps and designs requested from the production department, along with technicalities needed for such offers and submittals, to use for the technical information for the sales offer. 3. Technical Bids Respond to detailed technical inquiries and bid requests, with full technical detail as per requirements, and coordinate offers preparation with all commercial and technical concerned departments, to cover all required sections of the bid in attempt to win such bids. 4. Organization Ensure proper communication of all sales related documents, by authenticating these documents, acquiring all needed customer and management signatures, distributing as should to related departments for processing, and filing adequately for future retrieval, to ensure no issues arise due to errors of miscommunication or delays in production and delivery. 5. Pricing Offer proper prices to customers, upon reviewing customers’ portfolio and acquiring the matching prices from the price lists provided by the Sales Manager, to avoid wrong prices being given to customers. 6. Delivery coordination Coordinate the delivery and installation of sold generators to customers through following up with all concerned sales persons and related departments and attend to the commissioning of generators on-site when needed, to verify process completion and assure customer satisfaction and after-sales support. 7. Customer Service Ensure proper communication with the customers, by building good rapport, being available to respond to the customer’s inquiries, and showing good-will to constantly understand and support customer’s need, to enhance sales and after-sales support. 8. Continuous Improvement Attend exhibitions related to the company’s field of work, by visiting stands and communicating with potential customers, to network and market the company’s name and image as part of increasing sales plan. 9. Policies & Procedures Comply with the implementation of departmental policies and procedures, in order to ensure that all relevant procedural and legislative requirements are fulfilled. 10. Health & Safety Comply with all relevant health and safety requirements, in order to guarantee employee safety and legislative compliance. Additional Skills Required: • Arabic and English language proficiency (French is a plus). • Good communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills. • Good business analysis skills. • Good computer skills. • Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines. • Ability to work effectively under pressure Minimum Requirement: Education: Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering Experience: 0-2 years of experience in similar industry
