Sales Manager – Commercial Vehicles
Visits corporate clients in the field to sell products, follow up on previous sales calls; courtesy visits to fleet owners.
Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
Visits to secure new customers.
Monitors and guides the Sales Executives assigned to him.
Accompanies sales executives as and when necessary.
Conducts daily sales meeting with the the Sales Executives.
Submits Weekly and Monthly Reports, and holds daily meetings with Divisional Manager to update on progress.
Prepares tenders and quotations.
Coordinates with Service Center and Parts for effective customer care.
Coordinates with principal relating to orders and with the Finance Dept. to effect clearing and payment.
Follows the quality assurance procedures.
Carries out any additional tasks assigned (in line with qualifications and ability) by the Divisional Manager
