Senior Specialist Engineer (RBI/FFP) – Fuschia Oil & Gas in Abu Dhabi
ABOUT CLIENT: National Oil Company of Middle East is actively looking for candidates having hands-on experience in providing professional and technical advice and consultancy on all aspects of asset integrity related to the static equipment, wells, piping and pipelines through the development and implementation of Risk Based Inspection (RBI) and Fitness For Service(FFS) methodologies, ensuring that the Company’s assets are effectively and efficiently monitored and assessed. JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE: • Establishes risk based management strategies and application to production facilities. • Establishes baseline conditions for assets that would be assessed using RBI plan. • Develops Criticality Assessment guidelines by identifying high-risk plant items, and establishing a priority for inspection and maintenance based on relative risk. • Evaluates monitoring/mitigation programs using risk analysis tools. • Reviews and approves inspection and maintenance planning, and development of manuals, ensuring RBI priorities and industry best management practices are covered. • Advises on fitness for service (FFS) and integrity of assets. Performing FFS assessment of various critical equipment. • Prepares and manages FFS contract for more advanced assessments using advanced inspection and specialized software tools. • Reviews and validates consultant FFP assessment reports of equipment and pipelines. • Conducts regular integrity audits at sites inspection sections. • Conducts/coordinates specific technical assessment, studies and testing programs related to integrity issues, failure investigations, material selection, corrosion assessment & monitoring and new technology trials. QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 1. B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, metallurgy or equivalent discipline. 2. Mastery level in Integrity Assessment of various pressure containing equipment, piping and pipelines. 3. 15 years overall experience in the field of oil & gas asset integrity in particular inspection, material selection and FFP assessment. 4. 10 years should be in a supervisory/consulting position 5.
